Enclosed busway (referred to as busway) is a busbar system composed of metal plates (steel or aluminum plates) as protective shells, conductor bars, insulation materials, and related accessories. It can be made into plug-in type enclosed busway with plug-in branch boxes at intervals, or into feeder type enclosed busway without branch boxes in the middle. In the power supply system of high-rise buildings, power and lighting circuits are often separated.Busway serves as the main power supply line and is installed vertically along the wall in the electrical shaft with one or more runs.

    According to the purpose, a run of busway generally consists of starting busway, straight-through busway (with and without plug holes), L-shaped vertical (horizontal) bend busway, Z-shaped vertical (horizontal) offset busway, T-shaped vertical (horizontal) three-way busway, X-shaped vertical (horizontal) four-way busway, variable capacity busway, expansion busway, busway related accessories, and fastening devices.
