The "CNOOC Platform Busway Project" is a collaborative model of win-win cooperation between CG BUSWAY and the client.

Prior to collaborating with CG BUSWAY, CNOOC had communicated with no fewer than 20 busway suppliers, and only the solution provided by CG BUSWAY proved to be effective. Shortly after the completion of the project, CNOOC sent a thank-you letter to CG BUSWAY, expressing full appreciation for the work of CG BUSWAY's premium maintenance team.

At the end of 2019, CG BUSWAY received a busway project from CNOOC platform. Due to the impact of the epidemic, the project construction did not begin until the end of March this year.

During this period, the CG BUSWAY team was unable to land on the offshore platform for on-site surveys due to the epidemic. They could only provide remote guidance and measurements to the offshore workers based on drawings online. Subsequently, they designed, produced, and customized busway products to match the on-site conditions. The CG BUSWAY team only had one opportunity to land on the platform for construction. If there were errors in the plan or inaccuracies in the product dimensions, all construction processes would have to be overturned and restarted. The client would also bear serious losses due to delays in completion, posing a significant challenge for CG BUSWAY.

On April 2nd, the CG BUSWAY gold medal maintenance team members assembled in Shenzhen. After undergoing relevant medical examinations and isolation, they boarded a helicopter provided by CNOOC and arrived at a CNOOC offshore oil drilling platform located approximately 180 nautical miles (about 330 kilometers) east of the Guangdong coastline in about 1 hour.

CNOOC's offshore oil drilling platform started production in November 1993, with a daily crude oil production of over 20,000 barrels. It is a highly valuable project for CNOOC, and the potential losses incurred due to project delays are immeasurable. The CG BUSWAY premium maintenance team members must complete all the renovation work on the bus ducts with high quality and efficiency according to construction specifications, even in short construction periods and complex on-site environments.

The bus duct on the drilling platform has suffered from serious rust and corrosion over the past twenty years due to the special offshore environment. The main body of the bus duct, transformers, switchgear, and other components have all been significantly affected. The owner urgently needs to replace them with a new type of bus duct with a higher protection level.

During on-site operations, the CG BUSWAY Gold Maintenance Team members first conduct a comprehensive and detailed inspection of the work area. After listing the proposed solutions, they proceed to communicate further with the project owner for confirmation before commencing the renovation of the problematic areas in the busway.

During the maintenance and upkeep of the busway, the Gold Medal Maintenance Team from CG BUSWAY closely collaborated and worked in synergy with the property owners' staff.
